1970 – American singer and songwriter Tammi Terrell died from brain tumor on this day March 16 in music history at the age of 24. Best remembered for her series of hit duets with Marvin Gaye (‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, ‘Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing’, ‘You’re All I Need to Get By’, etc.
