1960 – Four years later on this day November 3 in music history, Elvis Presley started an eight-week run at No.1 on the UK Singles chart with ‘It’s Now or Never’.
1962 – With ‘He’s a Rebel’, vocal group The Crystals hit No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first of two consecutive weeks. It also became a chart-topper in Canada and New Zealand.
