1958 – Conway Twitty went to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 with ‘It’s Only Make Believe’. Also a chart-topper in Canada the UK.

1973 – Eddie Kendricks scored his first and only number one single in the US as a solo artist with ‘Keep On Truckin” on this day November 10 in music history.

1973 – With his seventh studio album ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’Elton John hit number one on the US Billboard 200 chart for the first of eight consecutive weeks. It reached No.1 in Australia, Canada, and the UK as well.

1975 – Singer-songwriter and poet Patti Smith released her debut studio album ‘Horses’ through Arista Records on this day November 10.
